PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS

PART-TIME

15 hours per week (3 hours per day)

Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM –1:00 PM
Course length: 2 – 48 weeks

Program offered in all levels: beginner to advanced. Covers practical conversation, practical grammar, reading, writing, and pronunciation.

FULL-TIME, PROGRAM A

20 hours per week (4 hours per day)

Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
Course length: 2 – 48 weeks

Program offered in all levels: beginner to advanced. Covers practical conversation, practical grammar, reading, writing, and pronunciation.

FULL-TIME, PROGRAM B

18 hours per week

10 hours on weekdays
and 8 hours on weekends (Saturday or Sunday).
Course length: 2 – 48 weeks

Program offered in all levels: beginner to advanced. Covers practical conversation, practical grammar, reading, writing, and pronunciation.

FULL-TIME, PROGRAM C

25 hours per week (5 hours per day)

Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1 hour lunch)
Course length: 2 – 48 weeks

Program offered in all levels: beginner to advanced. Covers practical conversation, practical grammar, reading, writing, and pronunciation.

ENGLISH + TOEFL

25 hours per week (5 hours per day)

TOEFL class is 8 weeks long. It meets Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Program also includes our Practical English class which meets Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

The TOEFL class requires a placement test to determine if you are ready for this program. If a student is taking more than 8 weeks of this program, he/she will continue in the Practical English after completing the 8 week TOEFL program.

The Practical English class meets Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. If the student does not get the TOEFL score needed to get into the university of their choice, they can take the TOEFL class one more time for free.

ENGLISH + ELECTIVES

10 AM – 1 PM, Monday – Friday (Practical English)
+ 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM, 2 days/week (Elective Course)

ENGLISH + COMMUNICATION

18 hours per week

This program combines our Practical English course with our Communication course.
Practical English class meets Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Communication class meets Tuesday and Thursday or Monday and Wednesday, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM.

ENGLISH + SHORT STORIES

18 hours per week

Combines Practical English course with American Short Stories course.
Practical English class meets Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
American Short Stories class meets Tuesday and Thursday or Monday and Wednesday, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM.

ENGLISH + BUSINESS ENGLISH

18 hours per week

Combines Practical English course with Business English course.
Practical English class meets Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Business English class meets Tuesday and Thursday or Monday and Wednesday, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM.

ENGLISH + WRITING

18 hours per week

Combines Practical English course with Writing course.
Practical English class meets Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Writing class meets Tuesday and Thursday or Monday and Wednesday, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM. Also meets Monday and Wednesday, 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM *OR* 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM.

ENGLISH + ACCENT REDUCTION

18 hours per week

Combines Practical English course with Accent Reduction course.
Practical English class meets Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Accent Reduction class meets Tuesday and Thursday or Monday and Wednesday, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM.
